साधयेत् शुद्ध शुष्कस्य लशुनस्य चतुष्पलम् । 
क्षीरोदकेऽष्टगुणिते क्षीरशेषं च ना पिबेत् ॥ 
वातगुल्ममुदावर्तं गृध्रसीं विषमज्वरम् ।

METHOD OF PREPARATION : Garlic that has attained proper potency is dehusked and taken in a quantity equal to 4 pala. This is then added to 16 pala of milk and 16 pala of water, and the mixture is boiled. The liquid is subsequently reduced to the original quantity of milk, which is 16 pala.
