वासकस्य रसप्रस्थं माणिका सितशर्करा । पिप्पल्या द्विपलं तावत्सर्पिषश्च शनैः पचेत् ।।
तस्मिल्लेहत्वमायाते शीते क्षौद्रपलाष्टकम् ।दत्त्वाऽवतारयेद्वैद्यो लीढो लेहोऽयमुत्तमः ।।

METHOD OF PREPARATION : One prastha of Vasaka swarasa is prepared and mixed with 8 pala of sita sharkara in a vessel. The mixture is heated until it reaches a thicker consistency, after which 2 pala of pippali choorna is added. Once the paaka is attained, 2 pala of ghee is added, and heating continued until the mixture reaches a leha consistency. The preparation is then removed from the fire, cooled, and 8 pala of madhu is added.
