METHOD OF PREPARATION

Ingredients in coarse powder form are taken in a mud sharava and heated. When the content gets melted properly, it is poured into banana leaf kept over a flat surface. Immediately pressed with another banana leaf. When it is cooled it is powdered and stored.

DOSE

5 to 10 ratti

ANUPANA – Cold water, Karpoora jala, Tender coconut water

PROPERTIES – Mootrala, Swedala, Vatanulomana

INDICATIONS – Amlapitta, Mootrakrichra, Mootraghata, Udararogas, Ashmari etc.

Kshara parpati is also known by the names Sheetala parpati, Shweta parpati, Vajra kshara parpati etc.
