TRIPHALA GUGGULU

त्रिपलं त्रिफलाचूर्णं कृष्णाचूर्णं पलोन्मितम् । 
गुग्गुलुं पाञ्चपलिकं क्षोदयेत्सर्वमेकतः ।। 
ततस्तु गुटिकां कृत्वा प्रयुञ्ज्यात् वह्नि अपेक्षया ।।

METHOD OF PREPARATAION

Three palas of powdered Triphala and five palas of Guggulu are taken in an ulookhala yantra. The mixture is pounded well while adding a sufficient quantity of ghee, and then it is rolled into pills.

NB – Gulmashotha can be understood as Gulmascha Shothashcha (both Gulma and Shotha).Some authors consider it as a single term i.e Gulmena janita shotham iti.
